What Are the Voters Trying to Say?

It's very clear that voters are not happy with the incumbent elected Supervisors In Calaveras County. Not one of the three could get the 51% required to avoid a runoff in November.
For Tom Tryon, it could mean an end to the possible 32 year reign in favor of integrity, and fresh ideas for District 4. Many are saying he should have retired, and nearly everyone is saying he should not have attacked a woman who he feels "dared" to run against him.
For Tofanelli in District 1 it shows that the voters are not happy with the way he tries to sit on the fencepost and play both sides, as it makes him look untrustworthy.
In District 2, this was clearly a referendum on Steve Wilensky's 8 year stint, and it clearly shows that he could not garner enough support for himself to put in a "clone" of his choice.
In nearly all of the elections, the answer comes back to "It's the economy, STUPID!"
