11,000+ acres of Yosemite burned

August 24, 2013:  Yes, Yosemite National Park is burning. As of this morning we did confirm that 11,000 acres has burned within the Park boundaries in the Rim Fire.

Officials indicate it is most likely much more tonight. We haven't heard the new numbers yet, though.

If Yosemite burns completely, then removing dam the will be the #1 environmental issue. We don't need no stinkin water storage. Especially, one that will be filled with silt and sediment from the Rim Fire and massive EIR's for dredging.
We can drink recycled drug laden urine.
