Board of Supervisors honor Centenarians

A Valley Springs resident who turned 100 years old this year was recognized as a Centenarian by the Calaveras Supervisors at their September 26, 2017 meeting.

Carolina Jungemann was present at the meeting.  She said that she owes her longevity to 'minding her own business'!  Marti Crane got up and said she probably won't make that since she doesn't mind her own business.  There was loud agreement of laughter.

King McPherson was also recognized as a Centenarian. His daughter says his secret is a bowl of ice cream every day.  He minds his own business but likes to watch his neighbors.

Was Marti's nose brown from sticking it where it shouldn't be?
