Many locals attempted to stay and try to fight the flames as homes in a nice Santa Rosa neighborhood were destroyed.They ended up having to run for safety as the heat from the fire overtook them. The exact count of homes lost is not clear right now. The fire is still out of control. This is the Tubbs Fire.
