UPDATE on October 9, 2017 at 8 AM: Hwy 26 remains closed at this time due to the Point Fire,
which has now burned 150 acres. Even residents are not being allowed back in.
At approximately 1:30 AM on October 9, 2017 multiple calls were received by 911 regarding a fire on Hwy 26.
Winton Road has been closed and Main Street was closed. Evacuations are not mandatory at this time.
