On Saturday October 14, 2017 wild horses trained by inmates to accept a saddle and rider will be up for public
adoption at the Rio Consumnes Correctional Center at 12500 Bruceville Road in Elk Grove.
It will start at 9 AM with a meet and greet with the horses, then a demonstration highlighting the capabilities of each horse, and the auctioning begins with the bidding starting at $300 per horse
