Three arrested in West Point--Methamphetamine??

   On November 7, 2017 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested three residents on Main Street in West Point.

   Robert Kent Miller  (53) was booked
into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Willful Cruelty to a Child, a felony and for Possession of Unlawful Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

   Rebecca Elaine Phillips (33), also of West Point was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance for sale, Keeping a place to sell Controlled Substances, Manufacturing Controlled Substances, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, Willful Cruelty to a Child and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent, all felonies.

   Also arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail was Robert Anthony Rogers (40) of Farmington, for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, Willful Cruelty to a Child, Possession  of Controlled Substance with Intent, and a Felon in Violation of Parole, all felonies and Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor.

   This is a methamphetamine arrest; the truly dangerous and prevalent drug in Calaveras. Finally, an arrest the Sheriff can be proud of.
