We all know that a hospital environment, such as Mark Twain Hospital, is consistent with sleeping around and with filthy gossip. This is so sad. Just as the Calaveras Chamber
was trying to clean up its act. Just another reason to stay far, far away.
Is that why Nicki Stevens, wife of Sheriff candidate Gary Stevens works there and at the Calaveras Chamber of Commerce?? We won't even repeat the things and people she loves to spread rumors about; even about her co-workers and co-chamber directors.
We recommend she resign and leave the rumors and gossip to the writers of the Sierra Sentinel.

What makes you thiknk things have improved at the Chamber of C in Calaveras? Same weird bunch on the board as 5 years ago.
Mark Twain is nothing but a county hospital for the poor and incarcerated anyway.
Remember how Edson used county property and money to buy his re-election using the Calaveras chamber of commerce? Proof that their power is nothing! Losers try to get the chamber to elect them. Stevens has no chance.
So now stevens is thinking it will get him in. I don't think so. look at their board. no one really has a legit bus in Calaveras.
Interesting, Gary Stevens states as soon as he is elected he will hire a sheriff assistant to do all the day to day tasks.
The current appointed sheriff states he didn't do this because he would lose three deputies due to the budget.
What is Mr. Stevens planning on doing? Sitting at his big desk and eating donuts.
He is unfit for this job and was schooled by Rebecca Callen regarding his budget knowledge.
He is only running on the campaign that he is against cannabis and should NOT be voted for!
He doesn't know what he is doing and is only another puppet for Dennis Mills, the soon to be unemployed sorry excuse for a supervisor
Everyone knows that the CalChamber has no clue about real business; employees do not make the real decisions. Yes, I have heard them gossip, all of them, about each other and businesses who won't join their idiocy.
Ahh yes, the glorious Chamber of Commerce in Calaveras. gets a free building, does NOTHING.
