On October 14, 2018 around 7:40 PM Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Jason Allen Hackmeier of Valley Springs on Hwy 49
in Angels Camp.
Hackmeier was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Attempted Burglary, a felony and for Possession of Unlawful Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Destroying or Concealing Evidence, Vandalism under $400 and Trespassing, all misdemeanors.
The 2nd person arrested was Eric Hendryx of Oakland, who was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Attemped Burglary and Vandalism over $400, both felonies and for Possession of Burglary Tools, Trespassing and Destroying or Concealing Evidence, all misdemeanors.
1209 Hwy 49 is the vacant building that an animal rescue group recently purchased and apparently plans to open a store.
