Blue Whales Lured into Monterey Bay

If you like whale-watching, this might be the time to head to Monterey Bay for a tour.
     The Blue Whale, hunted
nearly to extinction in the past, are   rarely spotted in this area, but are being lured in due to the large amounts of krill, their favorite food.
Whale-watching tour boats  are getting a rare treat, since there are only around 10,000 left world-wide, and they can stay submerged for 20 minutes at a time.
Also reported as plentiful this year are humpback whale sightings and basking sharks.
