Thursday, July 19, 2012, the Sheriff's office received a report of a mountain lion spotted at Black Springs Road and Hwy 4 around 4 PM in Camp Connell.
Although mountain lions usually are active mostly at night, thirst may bring them out earlier, so be cautious in the more remote areas of the county.
