CHP reports that Julia Lei (63) of Murphys was traveling eastbound on Hwy 4, east of Mitchler Ave. in Murphys in a 2011 Subaru Forester.
Therese Dofeschal (79) of Arnold was traveling westbound on Hwy 4 in a 1995 Subaru Legacy.
As the parties approached each other, per CHP, Lei, who was fatigued, allowed her vehicle to cross over the double solid lines and collide head-on with Dofeschal.
Both parties were taken to Mark Twain Hospital with moderate injuries.
