A press release issued on November 1, 2013 indicates that the BLM has lifted fire restrictions for most lands managed by the Mother Lode Field Office.
This includes Nevada, Yuba, Placer, El Dorado, Amador, Sacramento, Calaveras, Tuolumne, Stanislaus and Sutter counties, about 160,000 acres.
Restricts remain in effect in Mariposa County until further notice. All standard fire regulations remain in effect, such as permits for campfires, etc.
