Now that they have settled, what was the financial outcome? How much did the county spend and what if any will be received? If I remember correctly, Dennis Ponte's attorney is Ken Foley. So how much is the county paying out?

Is it confidentiality or that Calaveras County does not want it's taxpayers knowing how the county fails. Perhaps refresher courses or a complete reading and understanding of laws needs to be job one in the legal department, Code Enforcement and even the BOS members. There are laws in California that are supposed to be followed regarding disclosure of information to the people. Why is it ignored by the elected officials and not pushed by the public for full disclosure? There should be NO CONFIDENTIALITY agreements when it comes to the outcomes of government vs. citizens or citizens vs government.
