Dear Sheriff Rick Dibasilio,
I see that the sheriff department and you are participating in Attendance Awareness Month with a contest, and the prize is "Sheriff for the Day".
I want to be "Sheriff for the Day".
Yes, I realize that the contest is only open to Calaveras County students fro the first grade through the eighth grades, but I really feel that you can make an exception for me as I am deserving.
I know plenty of people that should be at work, but they are not, so I would like to detain them under the "color of law" for "failed attendance", i.e. the entire Calaveras County Board of Supervisors for only meeting twice a month.
I'll need the badge, a large secure van to hold five, two deputies and four roundtrip airline tickets to Hawaii. We'll make a stop in Danville on the way back.
I understand that artwork must be submitted by the applicant so I created these "Wanted at work Posters", Notice the mischievous smirks of the truants.
That is the true sign of the malingerer.

This is nothing but a con on voters to get kids to advertise this bad sheriff to their parents. a con man, with a swastika?? So we all hear!
