On October 5, 2017 the Calaveras Sheriff arrested Darrel Anthony Hale (29) of Dorrington at the El Dorado Savings Bank parking lot in Murphys.
Hale was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Hit and Run causing death or injury, involving the golf cart death on Hwy 4 in Angels Camp, a Warrant, and for Violation of Parole, both felonies.
Hale is allegedly the driver of the vehicle that was towing the (stolen) golf cart when it was struck by another vehicle.
