Everyone needs to be reminded that animals don't understand the roads are not safe. Slow down after dark and before dawn.
Deer, bear and other wildlife must cross the roadways to drink and its up to us to watch for them. Put deer warning whistles on your front bumpers. They really work!! And they are under $10.

Please drive slower than usual during dusk and dark hours and always use high beams when you legally can. Many collisions involving animals cannot be avoided, but if there is any chance of minimizing a collision, this might help.
Thoughts and prayers are with this family and friends. Terrible end t a Thanksgiving holiday.
This poor bear was struck so hard it came over the hood and through the windshield, crushing the woman and baby in the front seat. This happens with deer also. Slow down!!
