Dear Editor: A strange Sunday question??

   Dear Editor:

This may seem like a strange question for a Sunday morning, but I've been thinking that maybe we could celebrate the holidays without those freaking Christians?

I know I am not the only one to feel that they have ended any possible hope for Christianity to be respected, especially after that pastor Pat Robertson, hero of the "evangelists" in the GOP admitted the truth.

On air, he said that " the ONE LIFE of the Saudi reporter is not worth losing $110 billion in arms sales to the Saudi regime!"  I almost fell off my chair.

This is the so-called pro-life bunch?  They are so phony!  Only want it when its their choice. What they really want is for THEIR wacko religion to take over the entire government.

As it is, they have taken over the Supreme Court. Nutcases.  As for me and mine, will will be celebrating the holidays without the freaking manger story!

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. - Matthew 17:20

One question may be; can you make yourself truly believe you will go to a place christians call hell if you don't believe their stories? Or, Could there be a worse hell than what trump has created here on american earth?

Maybe we all need to just sit for a moment and process this whole thing out before commenting. I am a believer and I also think there is room for religious tolerance. I also know that there are radical sects that have been "splinter" groups from certain religions in the world. If one prefers a certain faith in our country, then let that person practice it in peace as long as he/she doesn't try to force it down our throats. If one likes to protelysize (not sure with spelling) or evangelize then fine-just don't push the issue or whatever message too hard on others. If they don't want to join a certain church or whatever, then fine and just leave them be. I'm done. Thank you
