Arrest for Firearms at Chicken Ranch

   According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office, on June 11, 2014 they were notified of subjects possibly loading a firearm in the Chicken Ranch Casino parking lot.

   Deputies responded to the scene and contacted the suspects; Tonya Slate, a transient (33), Jacinto Medina-Palacios (24) of Modesto, and Jose Hernandez-Ramirez (32) of Turlock.

   A search was conducted of their vehicle and two loaded firearms were located. One of the firearms was reported stolen out of Ceres.

   Approximately 1.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located in the vehicle and allegedly on Medina-Palacios person.

   Tonya Slate was allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia, per the report.

   All three were booked into the Tuolumne County Jail on numerous weapons and narcotics violations.

   As of June 12, 2014 Medina and Hernandez remain in custody with no bail. Slate (who only had a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia) was released on a citation.
