Patent Office cancels "Redskins" trademark

   Saying that the nickname "Redskins" is disparaging of Native Americans, the US Patent office has eliminated trade name protection for the term.

   Over the past weekend, one Native American leader stated that using the term "redskins" is like using the term N***** is to African Americans.
