Among some of the absolutely ridiculous statements made during the Calaveras County General Plan Update was one made by the Planning Department during the Tuesday, March 19, 2013 Study Session on the land maps.
Can you believe that they said there are possibilities of 3900 new homes EXISTING within the Arnold Community Plan and over 9000 new residents expected as a result? In Arnold?
That does not include the newest Cedar Ridge development, which was allowed to pull out of the Arnold Community Plan after the owner chaired her Community Plan committee.
It is our opinion that he got her Planned Development and in return, he was removed from the Arnold Community Plan. Dirty politics? You bet it was!! This goes on all the time.
Are you kidding me? What they are doing is trying to help the extremist environmentals to prevent any growth by pretending like there is already more than enough little lots to build on, a totally phony statistic.
