UPDATE: Supervisor Callaway got the corrections to the Closed Session agenda and to the Public Comments phrase, and we thank her. We got NO WHERE with the Board Clerk. (NOT MY FAULT!)
Tomorrow, March 19, 2013, the Calaveras Supervisors are holding a Special Meeting, starting at 8AM with a Closed Session to appoint a County Administrative Officer.
Next, also in Closed Session is existing litigation, County of Calaveras vs The Resort at Lake Tulloch, LLC, which is Case No 12CV38738 in Calaveras County Superior Court.
Why this is under the IHSS Public Authority is unclear. We have asked the County Clerk, and the response was that County Counsel approved it that way. We forwarded it to County Counsel for clarification.
It appears to us to be a clerical error by board clerk or staff, and should be corrected before the 24 hour notice.
At 10:30 AM a joint study session with the Planning Commission is being held regarding the General Plan Land Use Map Draft #2 for discussion and public comment. If you want your comments to be seriously considered however, you need to put them in writing and sign them, then give them to Planning.
