California gets a D, Calaveras County gets an F

The Sunlight Foundation, who studies the openness and transparency of government bodies has given the State of California a D grade.

And, of course, Calaveras County is simply an extension of that lack of transparency. In fact, if the Sierra Sentinel were doing the grading, Calaveras County would get an F.

   Happy sunshine week!!

Calaveras Unified School District would get a FF!!! Seems like if one entity is allowed to get away with it, others feel it is alright for them to follow!
