We recently heard that an Idaho Supreme Court ruling stated that a fan can sue the teams owner if by some chance the fan in injured by a ball that comes into the stands.
That would change everything. Where now people hope for fly balls or foul balls will come their way so they can catch them, there could be netting put up to "protect the fans".
This all thanks to a farmer who was hit by a fly ball at a minor league team game.
