Letter to the Editor...About Assembly

   Dear Editor:

I attended a Calaveras County Board of Supervisors meeting to hear what was going on with Castle and Cooke's newest project.

What I didn't expect was to hear a certain Supervisor, I believe from District 5, Darren Spellman his sign said, make a statement about a woman named Olsen as being our Assembly member.

Now I could have sworn that our current California State Assemblymember was Frank Bigelow, so I went online and I was right.

Then I found out that Mr. Spellman had thrown all of his marbles behind fellow tea party right winger Oller and lost big time.  Oh, boy did I hear.

So now he is afraid to even speak with his real Assembly representative?  This is hilarious!!  This guy goes further down the drain every meeting.  How degrading for Calaveras County!!

I would appreciate if you would publish this letter. Thank you.  DS in Copper

That caught me off guard too. Maybe he's just swooning to be a big shot in Sacramento, instead of a twice violator of the Brown Act.

Now Kristen Olsen may have been dumb enough to get thrown out of her office at the Capitol, but she would never be dumb enough to hire Spellman, in my opinion. Word gets around even to Sacramento.

Spellman is dead in the water. He is simply unelectedable at this point. His outbburts, his immaturiy and his constant need to speak out before he knows that facts will be the end of him.
