Letter to the Editor....About CPAC

   Dear Sentinel:

As a regular reader, I have been following the changes noted in your articles about the right wing
of the Republican Party.

I laughed so hard during  CPAC as candidate after candidate got up in front of the crowd and made abolutely no sense, but got cheers.

Then the all-important straw poll:  Rand Paul # 1 and Marco Rubio #2.

This is such a joke that I think these people must have actually voted for who is the taller of the two.

Now, though, Rand Paul says he's for immigration reform and a path to citizenship. That will end his Presidential hopes in that party.

I've changed to NPP like you.

Me too!! If a party states publicly that they are going to change their views in order to "reach" voters, they are essentially admitting they were wrong. Do conservatives nit get that??

Unlike the Democrats, who spend taxpayer's dollars to buy votes. The Republican's need to offer something to the generational change voters or be gone. Having just a Democrat Party majority doesn't seem quite right.
One thing we know for certain: We're born, we're taxed, we die, we're taxed.
