Outgoing Mayor Villaraigosa put a sales tax on the ballot for fire and safety services in Los Angeles. It was defeated 55-45 percent. Thank goodness some people know what's NOT good for them!
Los Angeles City turnout was a hefty 16.1 %. Amazing excitement down there.
