Although the general manager of the Los Angeles Fire and Plice Pensions warned in an e-mail to his staf, that he does not plan to approve anyone attending this Hawaiian conference, there are at least four large pension groups in the state sending 4 or 5 members each.
Some $17.5 billion is the amount these pension funds are short to pay promised retirement pensions benefits.
