Tuolumne County Considers Tightening Food Vendor Regulations

The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Planning Committee is meeting on March 21, 2013 at 1:30 PM in the Board of Supervisors Chambers to discuss the possibility of an ordinance (TC12-020) to add provisions for cottage food operations, mobile food vendors, and music festivals.

This ordinance would also modify the existing regulations for obstructions of easements, entertainment within 200 feet of a residential district.

It also affects commercial timber harvesting, exempting agricultural land uses from specified provisions for nonconforming uses, eliminating the requirement to obtain a PUD Permit in Mixed Used (M-U) zoning districts.
