Arlene Wilma Odale of Windsor passed away on May 10, 2014 in Petaluma due to Alzheimer's Disease. She was 79.A native of Oakland, her parents were Willard Gates and Verda Slunstik. She was a graduate of Calaveras High School and the University of Cincinnati.
Arlene was a Catholic and loved her pet cats and dog.
She is survived by her husband Vincel L. Odale of Windsor, children Becky A Fischer of Fremont, Sabina M. Bell of Reno, Nevada, Noelle L. Herbert of Oakley, Thomas R. Fischer, Sean V. Odale of Windsor, grandchildren Shannon Bell of Reno, Nevada, Robert Bell of Reno, Nevada, Rachel Fischer, Logan Fischer, Ester Fischer, Cathrine Fischer, great-grandchildren Cadence O'Flaherty of Reno, Nevada, Charlotte O'Flaherty of Reno, Nevada and brother Richard Ames.
Arlene was predeceased by her parents Charles and Verda Ames.
A private Memorial Service will be held at San Andreas Memorial Chapel on Thursday May 15, 2014 at 254 W. St. Charles Street in San Andreas.
Burial will be in Mokelumne Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations should be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
