Lynnda Lee Lowry

Lynnda Lee Lowry lost her 10-year battle with Leukemia and joined our Father in Heaven on Friday, May 23, 2014. She was 60 years old.

She was born Lynnda Lee Zarp on July 12, 1953 in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. She lived in Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties since 1980.

Lynnda most enjoyed spending tie outside kayaking and hiking in the woods.  She took great pride in her garden and could grow anything.

She was also very proud of her accomplishments as a synchronized swimmer, in which she won
many awards.

She was very kind hearted and would help anyone in need, even if it meant sacrificing her own needs.

Always ready for an adventure, she loved to create priceless memories. She showed her amazing strength through any life challenges while raising three very beautiful girls.

She always pushed things to the limit and always lived life to the fullest.  She will be sorely missed by all of those who were close to her.     We will miss her laugh, her stories, and most of all her sense of humor.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, sister and son.  She is survived by her two sisters, Barbara and Darlene, three daughters, Aimee', Sharlene and Lora; three grandchildren and her beloved kitty Sophia.

Family and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life on June 4, 2014 at 11 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 19481 Hillsdale Drive, Sonora, California 95370.

A reception will follow at 1 PM at Railtown 1897, one of her favorite places.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lynnda's name to the High Sierra Club or the Sonora Cat Rescue.

Mom--Always and forever, our hearts will always touch; always and forever, your baby girls love you so much.

Angels Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
