California's Unemployment rate drops--What about Mother Lode?

   The unemployment numbers for April  are now in and California now has a 7.8% unemployment number, down .3 from March.

   Calaveras County is 8.6%, Tuolumne County 8.4%, Alpine County 11.1%, Amador 8.3%, San Joaquin County 11.7% and Stanislaus County is 12.3%.

   If you want to work, you really need to move to the Bay Area, where unemployment levels are 5% and less. We understand most of the smart young people have already left.
