On April 30, 2014 it was reported to the Calaveras Sheriff from a resident on Obyrnes Ferry and Pheasant Run that homeless people seem to be camping behind the Copper Hills subdivision.
Then a call came in 10 minutes later from Deerfield in Copperopolis, a disturbance of a male throwing things in anger. Were they related? Hard to tell, but no report was taken in either case.
