According to CHP, on September 8, 2015 at around 4:45 PM they responded to a solo motorcycle collision
on Hwy 26 in West Point.
John Dixon (53) of Amador City had major injuries after leaving the roadway and colliding with a tree. He was air-flighted to Modesto Memorial with major injuries.
Per CHP drugs or alcohol were not a factor in this collision. If you witnessed this collision please call the San Andreas CHP office at 754-3541.
