According to the San Andreas CHP office on September 6, 2015 around 10 AM Kim Landry (49) of San Andreas was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound
on Leonard Road, making a left turn onto Gold Strike Road in San Andreas.
Ms. Landry failed to negotiate a left hand turn and traveled across Gold Strike Road, hitting the bridge abutment.
She was ejected from the motorcycle and fell 15 to 20' to the bottom of the creek bed. She was taken by ambulance to Mark Twain Hospital, where she was medi-flighted to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries.
Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a factor in this collision.
