Code Enforcement stopped at roadblocks

We just heard a rumor that Todd Barr and Courtney Minehart have been stopped in their civilian trucks at a road block in the Old Gulch area of the Butte Fire.

Apparently they flashed their Calaveras County ID cards and were finally allowed through. Code enforcement is enforcing codes?

If the former county employee Clay Hawkins had been with them, they would have been the Calaveras County Office of Emergency Services survey team. Why wasn't the OES position of Clay Hawkins filled? The worst part, it takes a disaster like the Butte Fire to show how disfunctional the county is. There are a lot of questions the bos needs to answer.

But I heard that they appointed Supervisor Edson. He didn't like the job after 2 days and dumped it on the sheriff, right?

The point is the internal appointment position was unfilled until the catastrophe started.
