More homes destroyed in Butte Fire--The Rim Highway

As of September 12, 2015 at 9:30 PM the Butte Fire has destroyed 86 homes and 51 outbuildings so far.

As most of you know, the majority of San Andreas was put back under mandatory evacuations on September 12 as it should have been all along.

The Rim Trial is now going to be called the Rim highway, as giant bulldozers are using it's path parallel to Hwy 4 to stop the Butte Fire from destroying Ebbetts Pass.

The total acreage was not changed by Cal Fire yesterday and still stands at 65,000 acres. Containment was increased to 15%.

What makes any of you believe it won't jump the FREEWAY? It jumped all the others.

one positive thing. If we survive this, we can have drag races on the new Rim Freeway. At least it will have a good use now.
