UPDATE at 7:50 AM: Crews from the Butte Fire responded to the scene, in addition to local fire crews.
Another call was received of a slightly different location and a local engine has been dispatched to that location.
September 14, 2015 at 6:55 AM: A fire has been reported at Hwy 26 and Woodhouse Mine Road in West Point.
It is questioned, but believed this is a new fire. Several engine units and water tenders are responding. This is near the Calaveras/Amador County line.
