UPDATE from CalFire: The Orange Fire is now 65 acres but the rate of spread has been stopped. All aircraft have been released.June 21, 2017 at 4 PM: People could see the smoke from Hwy 4 between Farmington and Copperopolis and fire personnel were headed to Sonora Road and headed for Stanislaus County for a grass fire around 2:45 PM.
Another engine from Altaville also headed down Hwy 4 to assist. The Orange fire is now about 30 acres and is near Orange Blossom Road in the Oakdale area.
