Dear Mr. Oliveria of District 3 and Sierra Sentinel:
I was able to watch the video of your last Calaveras Supervisor meeting and I want you to know how I feel about your inability to make a decision on behalf of your constituents.
Why were you elected? You were elected to do just that: make decisions in the best interest of the voters; not to play games and state you want to put everything on a BALLOT!!
I've never heard such a weak and agree with the Sierra Sentinel, cowardly excuse for refusing to state where you stand one way or the other, on any issue!
It must be true that you area afraid to make either side upset to help you win re-election. I'm telling everyone I know how I feel about your weakness as an elected official.
When are we going to get a good representative for District 3?

Is this about the cannabis issue. I saw that and wondered whay he meant.
Putting the cannabis issue before the ballot is a huge mistake and just a political move. If it goes before the public as a ballot measure the supes cant change it later. It is all a learning curve and regs will need changes as time goes by
