WANTED: By Angels Camp Police

Angels Camp Police are asking for the public's help to find Jayson M. Bermingham, a 32 year old Angels Camp resident.

According to ACPD, Bermingham is WANTED and has
outstanding misdemeanor bench warrants for failing to appear on charges related to being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, violating a court order and driving on a suspended driver's license.

Bermingham fled from Angels Camp Police on June 23, 2017 at approximately 9:30 AM when an officer attempted to serve the warrants and arrest him.

Bermingham barricaded himself in his apartment and refused to comply with numerous request to
peacefully surrender.

Due to the presence of numerous other residents in the apartment complex, including young children, the decision  was made not to force entry.

A report detailing the circumstances has been submitted for review to the District Attorney's office, and additional charges may be pending.

If you see Bermingham, do not approach or attempt to detain him. Please call 911 and report his location to the police.

I'm thoroughly impressed with ACPDs refrain from going paramilitary on this looser and shooting a neighbor kid. Genuinely impressed.
