The Calaveras County Water District (CCWD) is holding its regular meeting on Wednesday Augut 8, 2012 at 9 AM in the Board Room at 423 E. St Charles Street in San Andreas.On the Consent Agenda is the usual Secretarial Fund, or paying the bills, wages, benefits, etc of $1,579,214.20.
Under Old Business is the vague item Annexation Requests. Could this be Blue Lake Springs, which has had so many problems?
Under New Business is an Action item regarding the Rate Study Agreement, and the Rate Study Public Outreach Proposal.
You know, that's where they try to pull the wool over our eyes and convince us they need more money from us, the ratepayers.

Unfortunately, the agenda is to hire a couple consulting firms to do work normally done by staff members. So when they pull the wool they point the finger at the "experts" that told them it was so. Not much professional accountability in this.
