Board of Supervisors just might die....

Next Tuesday, March 19, 2013 a Special Meeting of the Calaveras Board of Supervisors
will be held in San Andreas, beginning at 8 AM with 3 closed session items.

One of the closed session items is a lawsuit of Calaveras County v. The Resort at Lake Tulloch.

At 10 AM public comments will be heard for 30 minutes.

At 10:30 AM a joint study session with the Planning Comission is scheduled to begin involving the release of the General Plan Land Use ap Draft #2 including land use designations for all unincorporated communities and Angels Camp Sphere of Influence.

Tom Tryon's new zoning should be part of that, since the City completely rearragnged their Sphere of Influence to move it away from the Greenhorn Creek area and encompass Tryon's land, in exhange for special considerations on sewer and water development we've been told.

The public will be allowed to comment on the GP maps, but remember, unless you put it in writing as a letter to the Planning Director, it will not be considered as a request for a change of any type.

Since it has been quite some time since these Supervisors have met more tan two times a onth, the effects on Callaway and Spellman could be detrimental to their health.

In fact, they have given themselves many three week vacations in the past year.

Let's all hope Spellman comes fully clothed. After his "NAKED" comment last Tuesday and the way he entered his first supervisor' meetings, who knows what he'll do.
