CalFire indicates that on March 9, 2013 at approximately 12:30 PM a structure fire was reported in the 25000 block of Hwy 108 in MiWuk Village in Tuolumne County.
CalFire, Twain Harte, MiWuk and Long Barn Fire Departments responded.
The fire, on top of an electric cooking range extended into the vent and caninet space above the cooktop, was apparently caused by cooking.
The damage was estimated at around $2000.
