Due to a traffic accident and heavy snow in the area, one lane of Hwy 88 is closed as of 9:30 AM to recover a vehicle from an accident that was originally reported at approximately 7:30 AM.
CHP will reopen the lane as soon as the tow truck gets the vehicle pulled out from down an embankment. Minor injuries were reported in the accident.
