Carol Mae Morris

Carol Mae Morris passed to the Lord on April 29, 2014 in Angels Camp. She was born on June 25, 1932 in Stockton
to Donald and Violet Clark.

Carol is formerly of Yuba City where she met and then husband Chester Morris raised their two sons Drew and Kris.

Carol enjoyed snow skiing and tennis and participating in those sports with her boys as a family.

After both boys were out of the house, Carol moved to Paradise, where she became heavily involved with "Youth With a Mission" in Chico.

Here she found her true purpose in life which was to serve our Lord Jesus Christ. She studied and became a missionary traveling the world preaching the Gospel.

Spreading Christianity in foreign countries and her at home gave Carol a joy like no other. Carol was very strong in her faith and continued being a faithful student of God's word until her departure into God's hands while at home and after a brief illness, surrounded by her family.

She was an inspiration to all whom she shared her faith.  Her inspiration grew even more when she moved to Angels Camp in 2003 to be closer to her family.

Carol would say, "when moving from Paradise there is only one place to move to and that is where the Angels' Camp".

Carol was a lovely example of a strong, caring and courageous woman who loved her family more than words can express.

Carol is already missed dearly by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving sons Drew and Kris Morris and their families.

At Carol's request there will only be a private family gathering to celebrate her life.

If you wish to honor Carol's life please send your donation to Foothill Community Church, P.O. Box 518 Angels Camp 95222 or to Hospice of the Sierra 20100 Cedar Road North Sonora 95370.
