Cal Fire has told us that they have received many offers of donations to the firefighters and Cal Fire itself. We know that Californians are generous and wanting to help, but:
State agencies and their employees are not allowed to accept direct donations, but if you fell like helping, give to those who have lost everything
in this horrendous fire.
So far there are 80 families who are now without a home due to the Butte Fire (86 at last count). You can also donate to a local church or other charitable organization who is now helping those affected by this fire.
Simply specify in your donation that it be directed to those who are left without a home due to the Butte Fire.
