CHP is assisting with the evacuation of residents on Calaveritas Road, now that the Butte Fire has crossed Mountain Ranch Road headed for Old Gulch.
They are getting some resistance. Some will be in the mobile home park and are often older people, reluctant to leave, with no place to go.

Does any one have any information on the North side of the fire...Pioneer specifically? I hear it turned back and is heading straight for Pioneer.
