September 17, 2015 at 12 Noon: After days of not knowing what happened to your home and being homeless but for a cot in a big building, residents want to go and see what is left for them in Calaveras County.
Therefore, it is understandable that anyone held at a checkpoint off Mountain Ranch Road, would become irate when refused being allowed to go to his home on Michel Road.
So, what do the Sheriff's deputies plan to do? They declare him what they like to call 5150 (mentally ill) and have him carted away and locked up.
Calaveras County is losing it! No one is in charge. Neither the Supervisors nor the Sheriff's Office nor the CAO's office are handling anything properly.
Complaints about inability to get help, information or any other assistance is no where to be found. Calaveras residents, you are clearly ON YOUR OWN!
