Despite the intent of the Calaveras Sheriff to make it look like all the looting and burglaries related to the Butte Fire are city criminals, it simply is NOT backed up by facts.
In fact, nearly every single report of looting or burglaries during the evacuations, it was indicated that local drug users and other criminals were involved. Almost EVERY SINGLE ONE!!
